My Lord and Shepherd is rich and generous. His vast resources are at my disposal as I walk according to His will. He owns everything and provides for all my needs, not only my physical needs but also my emotional, spiritual and relational needs. But more than what He can provide, He gave Himself for me. He is everything I need. He fills the void in my heart in a way that nothing in this world could ever do. Therefore I trust Him that whatever I need, He will provide and I will live in a place of abundance and confidence. Wherever He leads me, I will follow.

These are God’s promises of provision:

Psalm 34:10 (ESV)

The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Luke 12:24 (ESV)

Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!

Psalm 37:25 (ESV)

I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.

Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Reflection:

These are my current needs that I believe the Lord will provide in His own time and His own way.

Prayer:

Dear God, thank you for providing for all my needs. You have proven Yourself faithful. Through the years, you have provided for me. I do not lack anything because You are faithful and You are with me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
