As we follow Christ, there are times when we have to go through testy waters, struggles, uncertainty, pain, and suffering. We may experience evil on all sides but God said to not fear because He is with us. Keep going, keep trusting and following Him. In this world we will suffer, but He has overcome the world (“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33).

And because Jesus is a conqueror, an overcomer, He has made us - His sheep, more than conquerors (“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37). God wants us to persevere (“But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.” Luke 8:15)

Would you trust Jesus with all of your fears, worries, and concerns today?

List down the fears that you want to surrender to Jesus.

Prayer:

Lord, forgive me for being overcome by fear at times, instead of trusting in You. Please help me hang on to your every promise and trust that You are always with me, and You never let me out of Your sight. Whatever I am going through right now, in Your name and by your strength, I will overcome them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
