Welcome to I'm Set Apart!

We are a community of Christians who have been redeemed, loved, and set apart by our Creator. We hope to inspire and encourage the world by sharing our story of how the Lord, Jesus Christ, has been working in our lives, teaching, encouraging, and shaping us into who He created us to be.

May you realize that you too have been called and set apart for His glory. Let us journey together as we learn more about God, His power, His love, and His calling for us.

All glory and praise belong to Him!

Who We Are

I am a wife, a mother of two teenagers, and an HR professional living in Holland, Michigan. Above all, I'm a recipient of God's amazing grace.

Since I was seven, I have been seeking my life's meaning and purpose. After all these years, I am still on that journey. Only this time, I seek not my own, but I make God's purpose mine. Afterall, who else would know what life is all about other than the One who created life itself?

Shekinah Grace Armea

Hi friend! I’m Shekinah, but I also go by Kinah or Kai, depending on your syllable preferences. I’m a daughter, significant other, sister, friend, servant, cat mom, etc.

But more than the roles I play, I’m just a girl relying on the grace of God to help me navigate through a complex world I can’t figure out. Feel free to join us, one could always use a friend.

Maricon Amon-Alcaraz

Greetings from the Gulf!

I am a Christian, a wife, a homeschooling mom, and a student of the Word. Together with my family, I am part of Immanuel Church of Fujairah in the UAE. This year, I am especially excited to serve the women of our church—representing nine nationalities and still growing—by gathering under the light of the Scripture. It is my joy to study with them, adhering to faithful interpretation of God’s Word, and applying its truth to our lives as a church family.

“Therefore, come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
